Deaf/Hard of Hearing 研究生 Licensure

印第安纳州 University offers an online Deaf/Hard of Hearing Licensure Program designed to prepare teachers to work with students who are deaf or hard of hearing. 的 程序 is made possible by the Promoting Achievement for 学生 with Sensory Loss (PASS) grant which is funded by the Indiana 部门 of Education through the Blumberg Center.

  • This 20 credit-hour 程序 may be completed in 24 months of study. 学生 begin in spring 和 follow the 程序 sequence (spring: 3 credits; summer: 3 credits; fall: 3 credits; spring: 3 credits; summer: 3 credits; 和 fall: 5 credits.)
  • All courses are offered online with required face-to-face classes 和 weekend seminars.
  • Coursework from other 大学s/universities in the area of deaf/hard of hearing do not count toward completion of the 程序.
  • This 程序 is open to eligible students in the U.S. (including the District of Columbia 和 all U.S. 领土). 的 程序 is closed to students residing in countries other than the U.S. 除了你.S. military 和 State 部门 personnel 和 their family members with APO/FPO addresses.

In addition, the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Program is approved by the 印第安纳州 Board of Education.

金融援助 & 援助

研究生 students may be eligible for federal student loans if they are admitted into graduate degrees (or first-time teacher certification 程序s) 和 meet other eligibility requirements. Certificate 程序s are not eligible for 金融援助. Private alternative loans can help students pay 大学 expenses that may not be covered by federal loan 程序s or other 金融援助. For more information, visit 金融援助.
