• 的 online public 健康 minor includes 18 credits that prepare students with an interdisciplinary underst和ing of biostatistics, environmental 健康, 流行病学, 健康行为, 健康政策.
• Course work emphasizes critical thinking 和 problem solving, 和 teaches students how to influence the psychosocial, 物理, 和 economic 幸福 of individuals 和 families in a changing global community.
• 的 minor can serve as a complement for a variety of majors (except public 健康). 的 minor is particularly well-suited for students majoring in nursing as well students interested in adding a 健康-related component to their existing degree 程序s.
• Courses in the minor may partially satisfy some requirements in 基金会al Studies 和 some majors. 学生 should consult with their advisors before enrolling in courses to ensure suitability 和 plan their 程序 of study.

Note: 学生 have the option of completing the public 健康 minor by taking courses all online, 所有校园, or a blend of the two.

的 public 健康 minor is open to all ISU majors (except public 健康). To earn the minor, students must complete 18 credits (see required courses below). 除了, students must fulfill the University's requirements for graduation with a bachelor degree, including successful completion of a major.

Note: Individuals who wish to enroll in one (or more) applied 健康 science courses—but do not intend to pursue bachelor degrees—may apply to the University as non-degree students.
