RHIC仿真中心

The Rural Health Innovation Collaborative (or RHIC), is a not-for-profit partnership between a diverse group of public and private organizations 与 the mission of advancing health and wellness through innovative, interprofessional education and training of current and future healthcare professionals. The cornerstone of that effort rests in the RHIC 模拟中心.

2011年开始, the 模拟中心 provides opportunities for students in over 30 health professions to learn in realistic, simulated environments that mimic the settings and situations they will see in their careers. Simulation allows these students to take the concepts of classroom learning and merge them 与 psychomotor skills, communication techniques, and interactions 与 other health disciplines.

学生 in programs from the College of Health and Human 服务 at Indiana State University enjoy a wide variety of simulations activities that have been integrated into their curricula.  In addition, students are afforded the opportunity of learning through interprofessional teams. 学生 are often placed into simulated situations where they are learning from, 与, and about other disciplines, which is incredibly important as they will often be working side by side 与 professionals across the healthcare spectrum after graduation.

The RHIC was the first simulation center in the state of Indiana to become accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
